Ah, December....

It's actually snowing outside as I write this on the 30th November 2017. The Forest of Tervuren that begins over the road from my house and keeps going for miles and miles in all directions, its branches bare, is looking awfully festive as the backdrop to the snow flurries all around.

It's cold, it's crisp. Everywhere people are ordering hazelnut lattes and stocking up on supplies and gifts. It'll soon be time to put up the tree.

There's no hiding away from it, folks, (why would you want to?!)...Christmas time is here again!

Last year I launched my first Christmas album 'Sketches of Christmas', and lots of you bought it. I do hope you include it in your Christmas listening again this year. It's already made a return to our family's playlist and I must say I think it stands up to repeated listening. My kids love it, anyway, which is kind of all that matters.

I am still writing new Christmas music (I have been today, in fact), but the move to Belgium and lots of other work going on has meant the next album release will have to wait until next year.
